Golden Sun -GBA- 8

I just finished the first Golden Sun for Gameboy Advance. Fun rpg adventure with beautiful graphics for its time and robust battle system. I enjoyed grinding, exploring the world, and collecting all the Pokémon-like monsters to give the characters more abilities. The story and characters feel like they need to be developed more in the sequel, since I believe this and Lost Age were originally supposed to be just one game. Even being light on story, the grinding and exploration kept me hooked. Sort of like the original Final Fantasy on NES, which I loved. I’d give Golden Sun an 8, and I look forward to everything paying off in the sequel.
