Shadows of the Damned -PS3- 8

I just finished Shadows of the Damned on “Demon Hunter” difficulty (I think that’s the medium setting.) I thought it was a surprisingly good little gem for the ps3. The personality of the characters reminded me of edgy horror movies from the 90’s like Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight and From Dusk Til Dawn. That went a long way towards making this action-bang-shoot ‘em up extra fun. The shooting mechanics reminded me of Resident Evil 4 and other action games of that time, but the R-rated humor, monsters, and gore made the whole package feel unique. I’d rate this an 8. The main character Garcia funny and charismatic, and I felt motivated to save his girlfriend Paula in his trip through the Underworld.
