Sifu -PS5- 9

I just beat Sifu. This was a hard one! I believe there are multiple endings, but I guess I got the one where you kill Yang. This was absolutely one of the best beat ‘em ups I’ve ever played. Sifu goes a long way to push the genre forward in really interesting ways. The aging mechanic was really cool, and the martial arts fighting felt very authentic. When you parry, it feels just like doing a bridge hand in real life Kung Fu. The impact you feel during the strikes and blocks was really well done. And your timing has to be perfect. This game has uncompromising difficulty. I played it on the normal (disciple mode), and the enemies and bosses kicked my butt many times. There are only five stages, but you’ll be grateful with how hard it is to get through them. You’ll be playing them over and over to finish at a younger age, and unlock various shortcuts. I loved this game. I’m giving Sifu a 9 out of ten.
