Super Mario Odyssey -Switch- 3.5

My number one most overrated game of all time is Super Mario Odyssey. As a longtime Mario fan, I was shocked at how little platforming and parkour there was in Odyssey! I got a little over 500 of the 900 moons when I beat it, and all but maybe a dozen were absolute filler tasks. You literally either talk to someone, throw a rock, or stomp on a bump in the road…and you get a moon. No challenging levels to transverse. Just one simple task after another! Hell, you can even BUY moons! Almost all the moons took almost no work or skill to get, except for the Darker Side of the Moon level at the end. That level was great, and I wish the rest of the game was like that. The soundtrack was also very forgettable, except for Cascade Kingdom track. And there were only 17 levels, some of which were small! I give Mario Odyssey a 3.5 out of ten. Such a letdown after the utter perfection of Galaxy 1&2.
