I just reached the fourth and final ending of The Forgotten City. As soon as I got this game last week, I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s like Groundhog Day, but in a small Roman town. I liked that the town was small, but richly developed with very memorable characters. The writing in this game was brilliant and philosophical. It made me care about the choices I was making, and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. It was light on action and combat, but I didn’t mind at all. This game was more about the dialogue, story, and choices. And everything was very interesting, original, and even educational. I loved my whole time playing this little gem. I’m giving The Forgotten City at least a 9 out of ten. This and Deathloop are the two best “Groundhog Day” games I’ve ever played.
