The Last of Us Part 2 -PS4- 10

Just beat Last of Us Part 2. 10/10. I thought it was The Godfather Part 2 of videogames. Even more epic and powerful than the original masterpiece. The different perspectives told throughout the game add so much depth to the story. If you like emotional, gut wrenching movies like Deer Hunter, Oldboy, and Ordinary People...then this game is right up your ally. It certainly was for me. Screw the haters, screw the review bombing, and screw the leaks. Believe the hype. This game takes videogame storytelling and world building to a whole new level. And my god, those graphics, music, and stealth gameplay. This is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and the single best game on PlayStation 4.

Maybe I’m letting the excitement get to me, but this is how I feel right after beating the game this afternoon...I’m thinking Last of Us Part 2 deserves to be in my top 5 games of all time. I was floored by how powerful it was. It reminded me of how I felt after watching Requiem for a Dream back in high school...I couldn’t stop thinking about it, or telling people to see it. Now, I want to tell everyone to play Last of Us Part 2 from start to finish.

I just finished my second playthrough of Last of Us part 2. Took my time with it this time around, and you know what? I STILL put it in my top 5 games of all time. This one hit me hard, and I loved every minute of it. I loved playing as both characters and thought it added so much to the story. And those scenes on the farm in the last third of the game have the best acting (voice/motion-capture) that I have ever seen in a videogame, without question. These people would have won oscars if it was an actual movie. Has everyone played this game yet? I can’t believe how divisive this game is, according to youtube. It sure took a lot of risks, but they all paid for me, big time.
