Kid Icarus -NES- 9.5

After 30+ years of playing this beast, I can finally lay it to rest. I have officially beaten Kid Icarus, legit, on the authentic cart, with no cheating. This game and TMNT were the bane of my childhood, lol. I thought they were impossible. But a couple years ago, and I conquered TMNT, and today I conquered Kid Icarus. With the help of youtube, I was able to understand the point system, and that made all the difference in the world. If you farm for points in the first two levels, the rest of the game is much easier. I was able to knock it out in a couple days. This game is a classic, and I love it dearly. Wonderful music, great gameplay once you understand how to level up, and a heavy dose of nostalgia for me. 9.5 out of 10, and one of the best games on the nes. So glad to finally have this done after playing it off and on for over 3 decades!!!
